Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed with regard to the superior quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The services point produced for intervention encounters a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to enable the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
